Naughty Christmas card!

Bwahahaha! I love this stamp from Eat Cake Graphics! Though I kinda wish I'd done my sky differently - sponged it with black ink but doesn't look quite right ... maybe its the green paper with it that isn't right? Anyway coloured with copic markers and the doggy is decoupaged. Can't really read the greeting as pic came out quite dark, but it says 'Seasons Greetings'

Scrappy Frogs challenge is to feature a tree on your card!

One of those days..?

Sorry about the really rubbish photo - the dark evenings are upon us already and I really must get a better spot to take my photos!

Stamps from Eat Cake Graphics, kitty coloured with watercolours and then mounted on dimensionals. The dots up the side are mini red gems. Gold peel off border to finish. Really simple card (but I'll not divulge how LONG this took to make!!)

Colour combo from Rosie Dee's challenge #55 - coffee and cream with a cherry on top

I'm Back!

Buonasera!

Well we're back and what an amazing time we had! The weather was scorchio, food delish, hotel lovely and the sights were fabulous!

And Jo, I agree that it's impossible to narrow it down to a couple of favourite sites as they're all so awesome - there's a gorgeous church, ancient ruin, fountain, piazza or monument on every corner. If you haven't been to Rome I definately recommend it! (Though I don't think I could stick the heat earlier in the summer as it was pretty hot last week!)

By the way Lily, I did my best to find your ice cream shop... wasn't sure which one it was so tried most of them! Scrummy!

And when I got home on Sat, I had a lovely card from Jo (Dotty Pudding's place) and some stamped images ... thanks very much Jo!

Thank you Thingy

This is one of the images DottyJo kindly sent me (see post above to see the fab card she sent me using the same pic). I'm not entirely sure what it is (...a bunny?) but its sooo cute!

Simon Says ...BOO!

Simon Says challenge this week is Boo, make a Halloween card. I'd pre-coloured some images before my hol so this was really quick to throw together. I'd received this lovely witch Tilda image from Linda and coloured her with copics. Also coloured the flower and bat to match and coloured a dew drop black with a black Sharpie marker.

I flipped the sketch from CPS Card Sketches #137

Allsorts Challenge #22 is Halloween

Banana Split Sunday challenge is also Halloween

Daring Cardmakers is a colour challenge - Autumn Purple

Happy Birthday Derek

Made this for my Uncle's birthday - there's quite a few autumny challenges so the colours were perfect for the simple layout. Coloured my Penny Black doggy with copic markers and added some gold stickles to the name and round the edge for a bit of bling.

Sketch from Unscripted Sketches #26

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #53 is Autumny Colours
Penny Black Saturday Challenge #70 is Buttons and Bows

One Stop Craft Challenge #50 is Happy Birthday

Loonie Stampers #61 is another colour challenge - orange zest, new leaf, dark chocolate

Arrivederci !

Well my case is packed (or near enough) and we're rearing to go! So you'll have a bit of peace and quiet from me for the next week. Looks like the sun is shining in Rome and its about 25-27 degrees, so just perfect for all the sight-seeing we've planned.

This is another real quickie using my (current!) favourite stamp from Eat Cake Graphics. Bats coloured with copic markers - stuck their heads down with glue and popped the wings up on dimensionals. Lovely brads were a pressie from Linda. Sentiment from Stampin Up.

Batty Tilda for WCMD

Managed to squeeze in another card for WCMD. And what a lot of WCMD challenges there are today! ... I managed to squeeze 7 of them into this one!

Made this for the 24hr Simon Says Challenge - to make a girly card for a little girl who was seriously injured ~(see their post for more deets).

The colour combo is from SPCC WCMD Combo 4 - I don't have any of these colours but tried to get as close as I could.

Rory's 7th Birthday

Well its World Card Making Day today but I don't really have time to play (..should be ironing and getting my case ready for my hols!) But I didn't want to miss all the fun so made this very quick card!

Image is from Bildmarnia (think that's how you spell it) and sketch from CRAFT Challenge #19. Coloured with copic markers. Skateboard popped up on dimensionals and black stickles added to the spider.
