Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet'n Sassy Stamps!

Thanks for joining us on Sweet 'n Sassy Stamp's Birthday Blog Hop! 3 years ago today Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps "opened for business" with just 4 clear stamp sets being sold on a simple blog. Since then SNSS has grown to over 100 clear stamp sets and hundreds of digital stamps!  Congratulations Korin and everyone at Sweet'n Sassy ... here's to many, many more successful years!

I was a member of the SNSS digi DT back at the start of this year and I'm so pleased that Korin's celebration hop includes past and present members of the DT (.... there's over 30 amazingly talented ladies participating in today's hop!)

SNSS Digi - Cocoa's Chocolates

Mmmm... don't these look like yummy choccies!  I couldn't resist using them for my Sweet'n Sassy DT post this week! (See them HERE in the Sweet'n Sassy digi store and the sentiment HERE)

I coloured the image with my copic markers and then popped the choccies up on dimensionals, and then the single choclate on another layer.  I added some stickles to the chocolate icing and to Cocoa's nose, then some bling and silver pearls.

It's such a simple card, yet it took me over an hour and a half to make! I've no idea why!

SNSS Digi - Sew Happy Cocoa

It was so difficult to choose which image I was going to use today for my Sweet'n Sassy blog DT post, as Sweet'n Sassy have been releasing loads of new digis ... my advice is to check the store's home page frequently and look at the Whats New section!
I eventually chose little Sew Happy Cocoa ... get him HERE, and the matching sentiment set HERE. 
I hand stitched round the little blue panel with pink thread and then used a white gel pen for some faux stitching round the edges. The little scissors are from a set of brads I bought at the craft show in Belfast, not knowing when I was ever going to use them, but they're just perfect with Sewing Cocoa!

Don't forget our digi challenge day over at SNR, come and join us for some fun every Thursday!  You don't have to use Sweet'n Sassy images to play, but if you have them use them!  (Korin will be on the lookout for our Guest Designers and Spotlight Customers from the participants!)

SNSS Digi - Birdie Delivery

ETA: I was in the Card Patterns Super Six with this card!

For my Sweet'n Sassy DT post this week I've used his sweet little bird (Birdie Delivery - only $0.99) which was released at the end of January but I haven't had a chance to play with it till now! You'll have to trust me when I tell you the button looks the same colour as the bird in real life and the darker pink in the DP, but my photography skills are seriously lacking! Roll on Spring and the brighter nights for better photos!

I used my dotty embossing folder on the central image and then popped the bird up on dimensionals. And of course every card needs some bling, so I added some clear gems and silver stickles to the little heart, and a little silver safety pin to the bow to finish.

SNSS Digi - Snail & Friend

For my Sweet'n Sassy DT post today I've used this sweet little snail (remember to quote me during the summer after the slugs and snails have ravaged my garden that I called him sweet!). 
I coloured it with my faithful copic markers and popped the shell up on dimensionals.  (The shell does match my DP but as usual I couldn't get it photographed right).  Added some bling, some clear dew drops and a tiny bit of stickles on the butterfly and Ta Da .... done!  Simples!

Hoppin on a Rocket!

My card for the hop is this non-traditional Valentine Card ... no LOVEy dovey hearts and kisses here!  I used the little rocket from the Sweet'n Sassy digi set Blast Off and the sentiment and clouds are from Soar Above. (Each set is only $3 each!)

I stamped a little star on the blue BG with versamark ink and embossed the black BG with stars.  The rocket and clouds are popped up on dimensionals and some silver giltter added to the rocket for a bit of sparkle.  I LOVE how it turned out!

You ready for Christmas yet...?!

I thought for my Sweet'n Sassy Digi Blog DT post today I'd ink up this cutie that was released in December - I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas - if you haven't heard the song, you're missing out! (I've posted a link to the song on the SNSS Digi blog). It was my New Year's crafty resolution to make a Christmas card or two every month, so this un's for my 2010 stash! No making cards till midnight all of December for me this year! LOL!

I coloured my hippo with copic markers and added some red nail varnish to her tootsies ... well every girl likes to look her best! Her bow is also popped up on dimensionals.

Greg's Valentine's card

This is going to be Greg's Valentine's card - I actually managed to get it made without him seeing it, not an easy task when you craft in the kitchen!
He's got a small aquarium so the new digi release Pucker Up from Sweet'n Sassy stamps was just perfect for my card! Coloured with copic markers, the fishies popped up on dimensionals and then stickles added to the little hearts and the purple plant. I used a little Stampin Up heart stamped with versamark on my brown BG.  Don't forget to visit the Sweet'n Sassy digi blog to see what the rest of the DT made with these images!

I made a DT !

  Yip, you heard right, I'm joining the Sweet'n Sassy Digis Design Team in January!   I'm sooo pleased!

Anyway, I thought I'd make a card with one of their recently released stamps - Be Mine Cocoa - well it is nearly Valentine's Day (and you know my New Year's resolution is to be more organised! LOL!)  I wanted the little mouse's tail to stick out the edge of the frame, so I coloured another image (with copics) and popped it up on dimensionals.  Added some glitter to the red heart and to the frill on the bigger heart.  The silver ribbon is recycled 'trash' from a Christmas gift.
