Pure Innocence

This wee CAS card took aaaaaages to make, I'd the flowers on and off this card about a million times before I finally decided where to put them!  Popped my little girl up on dimensionals and added a bit of hand stitching.

An orange cutie

Well the weather men got our weather so wrong yesterday, it turned out to be a beautiful day, nice and warm and plenty of sunshine.  ... however, they got it totally right today, its rained since I got up this morning and hasn't stopped since.  Oh well, I had a nice wee morning of crafting, a gorgeous Sunday lunch, and now settling down to watch a wee Sunday afternoon movie (and maybe combined with the traditional Sunday afternoon snooze!!)
Coloured this wee Pure Innocence girl with a mixture of copics and promarkers.  Hand stitched little accents.  Beautiful blue flowers and the huge blue gem were a pressie from lovely Audrey.

April showers

ETA: I won the Allsorts challenge with this card

April Showers bring May flowers .... but we've had a very dry April so I've been out watering my garden just in case!
This is another Pure Innocence stamp, I think her little umbrella is perfect for an April Showers theme ... coloured with copic markers and her wellies, coat and umbrella covered with clear gloss.    Used a silver peel off and coloured it with the darker blue copic, pearls also coloured to match.  Paper from Basic Grey 'Cupcake'.  Martha Stewart fence border punch and Marianne Design swirl die.

What does £36 get you....?

Card first ... Jo very kindly stamped this little PI girl for me a while back ... coloured her with copics and had another go at colouring black hair.  I had a little robin watching me do some gardening earlier, so I coloured my little birdie in his honour!  Added flowersoft for the grass.  I've had this lacey ribbon in my stash for years and never seem to use it, but its sooo pretty I think I'll be using it again.  Pink stickles as wee accents and I just touched her eyes with black enamel accents for a bit of definition.

Right, so what does £36 get you? ...... 4 plants and a pack of seeds! We had half a notion of going to the seaside today, but it was a bit overcast and chilly this morning .. so we went to the garden centre instead!  (I think you hit a certain age  when the garden centre is a treat and not a chore!!)  So when we got home the sun came out and its been a glorious afternoon!  Got most of my purchases planted up, grass cut and fertilized, some lettuce and cosmos seeds planted, seedlings transferred and pot plants re-potted.   Phew!!!  I need a long soak in a hot bath now!

Here's a wee close up of the new Dahlia we bought, isn't it sooooo pretty!

Blingy Swingy!

uurgh, its been a horrible dark, dreary and wet day today (we woke up to a skiff of snow this morning too!), mind you, when you watch the news and see the horrors unfolding in Japan, we've little to be complaining about.

This wee card uses a Pure Innocence image that Jo kindly stamped for me and the sparkly chipboard flower was one of Dawn's goodies too!  I coloured her dress to match the DP (from papermania), but then I thought she looked a bit drab, so I added some Smooch Illuminate to her dress (don't think it shows in the pic) and blinged up the tree leaves with some lime green stickles.  Couple of wee pearls and gold peel off sentiment to finish.

Simon Says ... Bingo!

(Click HERE for my Sweet Stampin GDT post)
Ohhhh I can't wait for Spring!  Its been another dampish, dullish, coldish day, and I just would love a wee bit of heat!  At least it was a much better day than yesterday ... Greg made a gorgeous Sunday dinner, then a wee afternoon's crafting and now just sitting watching telly!  And yes, the smell of nailpolish eventuallly did go away LOL!

Pretty in pink

Click HERE for my Sweet Stampin GDT (use a photo) post
I've been trying to make better use of my stash, so here's a wee Heather Ellis digi that rarerly gets to see the light of day!  Coloured with copics and then the purple highlights covered with clear gloss and glitter. The little irridescent butterflies were stuck first on pink card to match her wee outfit and then cut out.
