Thought I'd have a bash at a scrapbook page to see if that will inspire my mojo to come back .... its such a dark cold day today, if he's away somewhere warm and sunny he'll never come home :(
I'm just a tad behind in my scrapbooking, this is my wee niece and she's already 2 and a half, so I'd need to get a move on! Isn't she a cutie.
Can't remember the make of this DP, but its lovely embossed stuff, feels like flock.
Fence, scallop and heart die cuts; flower punch
Little birdie from a Paper Smooches set.
I flipped the sketch from MFT Wednesday Sketch Club MFTWSC95

Bath time bubbles!
I've had a busy couple of days spring cleaning, and came across this photo of my wee niece and thought I'd add it to my {much neglected} scrapbook. Isn't she a cutie!
Letters and heart from Paper Smooches. No idea about the fish, they've been knocking about my craft box for years!
Added some dots of clear stickles round the edge and black stickles to the fish eyes, but doesn't really show up in pic.

Scrapbook Page #2
This is my second effort at a scrapbook page - how anyone manages to make one of the big 12x12" pages is beyond me, these wee 6x6" ones are scary enough! Sorry for the really rubbish pic but its pouring with rain and a horrible dark old evening. Oh yes ..... Summer!
I had imagined to get the whole song title in the pic, but ran out of room! (You'll be singing Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken, lay a little egg for me the rest of the night now LOL!)
The star of the photo is my gorgeous wee niece Alex in my Uncle's garden with his stone chicken - it used to live in my Granda's garden and I loved it when I was a kid too! I'd used this chicken stamp just recently and it hadn't quite made it off my table, but I thought it would be good to use with the photo. Popped my chick up on dimensionals and added clear gloss and glitter to the balloon.

Sweet Stampin GDT: Use a photo
This week's Sweet Stampin challenge is to use a photo, so I thought I'd have an attempt at a scrapbook page which I've never done before. I won a wee scrapbook album aaaaages ago, but have always been really intimidated by it - I always just lifted it out of the cupboard, looked at it, hummed and haaaed a bit, and then put it back .... but not today!
This little cutie is my niece doing the laundry, so on the background of my page I used the washing line and flowers from a Practising Creativity set.
Get your photos out that you've been meaning to do something with and play along HERE .... there's a fabby prize from Tiddly Inks up for grabs!
