Sketch & Stash Snow Dude

Another outing for my little snow dude for the Sketch & Stash challenge #24

Used a charm from my stash which I got a while ago from Bunny Zoe's shop.  I rarely use my charms as (a) I like them too much to used them (!) and (b) they are so fidgety to attach the chain, cracks me up every time

Ribbon is a really old offcut that's been knocking round my craft box for quite a while now, but I thought the colours were good for the DP.

Also for 2RedBananas Banana Split Sunday which is to make a Winter / Christmas card

Snowman coloured with watercolours; hand stitched border.

Christmas Favourites

Creative Card Crew's challenge #38 is Favourite Things
I've used quite a few favourites on this simple card - my Whipper Snapper stamp, stickles glitter, jingle bells and peel off greeting.

Papertake Weekly have an open challenge this week - Christmas Crackers - anything for Christmas

Mojo Monday Sheepie

Oops, I almost forgot to upload my card for the Mojo Monday challenge #114

Penny Black sheepy with added flower soft and glittery snow.

Monster Truck Birthday

I was asked to make a card for a 4-year old who's mad keen on trucks - I remembered I'd printed this one off ages ago (I think its a Dustin Pike freebie, but I could be wrong!) Coloured with copic markers - I kinda wish I'd coloured the truck red, but I hadn't decided what I was doing with the sketch before I started.

Anyway it was good timing for the Cute Card Thursday challenge #88 - Snips, Snails & Puppy Dog Tails -cards/projects that are for the younger boys.

Lilac & Silver Christmas

Stampin' for the Weekend challenge #26 is a colour combo this week - Lilac and Silver
I watercoloured my image and used a silver glitter pen to add some glitz to the ribbon on the parcel. Flower soft for hat and snow writer for base of image. I didn't even have to put a greeting on the card as it was pre-printed on my DP. Silver snowflake from my never-ending stash from Tesco's

Red'n'green Christmas

This is another stamp that's super-fast to colour - got it from Whipper Snapper months and months ago in their sale. Coloured with watercolours, stickles added to hat and snow-writer for more glitz to the bottom of the image. Little jingle bells from last year's stash.

Sketch from Clean & Simple Fall-to-layout #70

The Corrosive challenge #40 is Red and Green

Football birthday

I'm rubbish at making cards for older boys .... possibly not helped by the fact that I don't have any suitable stamps or boyish papers!! These old peeloffs are from my stash

Pink'n'green Snowy

ETA: I won ICS challenge with this card - 3 digi downloads from squigglefly

Well I'm in full steam ahead Christmas mode today, definately need to get a bit of a move on!
I usually make one card, then put the stamp away and make something completely different, but today I just worked between 2 stamps and managed to get quite a few done.

This little snowman is from Pink Gem Designs (they've a sale on at the moment!) The star in the centre of the flower is gold, but didn't photo well.

Kraftin Kimmies challenge #8 is Touchy Feely - so I've loads of texture with embossing, raised gems, ribbon, flower, and glittery snow.

I misread the colour combo from SPCC Xmas Combo #12 - in my head Handsome Hunter was blue instead of dk green!

Pink Birthday 2

Same papers, same stamp, same flower!
Coloured this time with watercolours.

Sketch from Sketch Saturday #79

Crazy for Challenges #13 is Punch Happy - I used my Martha Stewart punch down the side of the paid paper, and my cuttlebug + Ellison Mac'n'cheese alphabet to cut out the name in silver card

Blogging over for the evening .. off now for a beer and to watch I'm a Celeb!

Pink Birthday 1

I've hardly made a card all week, so now I'm playing catchup! I coloured this little pup stamp with copics and added a wee bit of glitter to his scarf and dotted along the scalloped edge

Die Cut Dreams #24 is Puppy Love

The Pink Elephant #42 is Something Plaid, any # of Brads and No Ribbon (my brad is the big pink one in the middle of my flower)

Sketch from Crafts 4 Eternity recipe challenge #8:
1. use the sketch
2. add a flower or 2
3. add sprinkle of glitter

Santa Page Marker

High Hopes Challenge #54 is Santa - I used mine to make a little page marker. Added stickles for some bling.
(and in case you're wondering, the book is Last Chance Saloon by Marian Keyes!)

Ruby the Red-Nosed Rein-dog...!

Ha Ha ... you'll be singing that all evening now!

Blame Allsorts Challenge #28 - they wanted a card based on a Christmas carol or song (Ok...I used a bit of artistic licence there!)
(I should really have coloured my doggy white and inked in the BG to be a real Ruby Rein-dog!)

Sketch from Sweet Sunday #45

I had a go using the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers on Cutting outside the edge with nestablilites.

No idea who makes the doggy stamp - got a few images in a swap last year.

Not so CAS card!

This was supposed to be a Clean & Simple card from the Fall-to-layout #69 but I got a bit carried away with my lovely peel off stickers! Mounted the larger dragon flies onto acetate - there's a real shimmer on their wings that doesn't really show up in the rubbish photo.

Bright Birdie Birthday

Such a horrible, cold, windy and wet day today ... though I suppose I should count my blessings when you look at the flooding in other parts of the country.

Made this for a friend of my Aunt who is celebrating her 70th Birthday. Its a really old stamp (possibly Magenta but I wouldn't swear to it). The greeting is from Stampin Up - I covered up the bit in the centre before inking up so I could add the age there. Birdies coloured with copics to match my DP. Didn't add any glitter to this card (there's a first for everything!)

PDCC05 Clara in Blue and Purple

Jo very kindly sent me some of these Kraftin Kimmie images so I couldn't wait to get using them! Coloured Clara with copic markers and also coloured a couple of primas to match.
I received the blue lacey stuff AGES ago as part of some blog candy, so used it today as part of my aim to use up some stash! But when I stuck it on my mojo went for a cup of tea and I'd no idea what else to do to the card, so I've just left it quite plain and simple!

Kraftin Kimmie's challenge #7 is to make a Christmas card

Colour combo from The Play Date Cafe PDCC05

Three Clovers Thursday #39 is to make a Christmas card without using Red or Green

Quickest Cards EVER !

Just thought I'd share some of the quickest cards I've ever made ... about 5 minutes tops for each!

I had a bit of a clear out today (well OK I was looking for my still un-found snowflake punch!) and found some stash I've never used. The Christmas one is a long strip of 3-d stickers and the Celebrate card is from a pack of rub-ons. Added extra bling to both and silver peel off lines to the Christmas one.

CPS Santa

I had a wee go at the gathered ribbon effect, but I'm not sure if I've done it right or not! I put a wee strip of dst and then folded the ribbon along it, putting a wee stitch in to hold it in place.
Stamp from High Hopes, coloured with copic markers. Silver peel off greeting and silver snowflakes to finish.

Sketch from Card Positioning Systems #142

Copic Buzz #23 is colour something red (I know my Santa is only little, but he's still coloured red!)

One Stop Craft Challenge #56 is Snowflakes

Pink'n'grey Christmas

Tree paperpieced - images and papers downloaded from Pink Petticoat

Sketch from Create4Fun #46

Triplets!

I love this little Santa stamp (High Hopes) - coloured with copic markers, popped up on dimensionals and flower soft added to hat and cuffs. Sketch from Sketch Girl #9

ETA: Greg has just said that my drippy goo border makes my card look like a Santa massacre! (..and now that he's said it, he's right you know!!)

Ribbon Sheepy

Another outing for my little Penny Black sheepy - think I had my wonky head on when I took the photo! Got these adhesive ribbons free with a pack of paper from Bunny Zoe's shop.

Sketch from Polka Doodles #27

Simon Says ... Animal Antics

Penny Black Saturday Challenge #75 is Christmas for the guys and Simon Says challenge is Animal Antics - so I thought my little Penny Black Christmas sheepy would be perfect. Sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches #43.
Crafty Creations challenge #42 is metal or metallic finishes - I used a silver charm and some silver snowflakes.

By the way, if you enter the Simon Says Challenges there's fabulous weekly candy up for grabs from some of the DT - including Chris at Catt's Scratching Post (click here or on her blinkie in my sidebar)

Santa's Toy Sack

I'm having a wee day off work today (loaded with the cold) so using it to get on with my Christmas cards! Don't tell my boss!
This stamp is from Whipper Snapper - coloured with watercolours, stickles added to Santa's beard, teddy's nose and to presents. Used a blue sparkly Sakura pen to highlight other blue bits.
Also added some diamond ice stickles to cover my snowflake brad.

Sketch from Friday Sketchers #79

Die Cut Dreams challenge #23 is Santa

Creatilicious challenge #4 is Make something for ChristmasInclude snowflakes and lots of sparkle/glitter.

PURPLE Overkill?

I got home from work today and some of these Kraftin Kimmie cuties were waiting for me that lovely Jo (Dotty Pudding's Place) had stamped for me. Thanks Jo!

I couldn't wait to have a play with Francesca, so I made this little card for a friend who's all-time favourite colour is purple... so out came my purple copics, sparkly purple card, purple papers, purple gems and purple ribbon! (And yes, I would have used purple stickles if I'd thought of it!)

Sketch from Unscripted Sketches #31

Also for Incy Wincy Designs challenge 18 : Purple (thanks for the link Liz!)

Green'n'pink snowy

Has anyone got all their Christmas cards made yet? I've got loads to do, even though I started making them about March time (unfortunately I wasn't as dedicated as I'd hoped I would be!)

Snowman (or snowgirl?) coloured with copics and metallic gold stars added (was originally table confetti from Tescos) Sakura clear glitter pen used to accent scarf and hat.

Sketch from Mojo Monday #113

Shhh... who's that on the roof?

ETA: I won the Crafty Creations challenge - 3 digi downloads

This stamp's another of my new goodies from the Kings Hall Craft show yesterday - from Little Claire Designs, I could have bought nearly their entire stock if only my purse had allowed it!

Coloured with copic markers, trees popped up on dimensionals and flower soft added as snow.
Coloured flower to match house and added a snowflake brad.

I'm away now to watch I'm a Celebrity..Get me out of here - pure telly trash, but I love it!

Sketch from Copic Buzz #22

The Secret Crafter #58 is Four Seasons - use all 4 seasons on your card or just one

Crafty Creations #41 is Snow
Winter Wonderland challenge #25 is St Nicholas
