A Holiday Hello!

Did you know there's only 46 days to Christmas! There's a definate nip to the air today, so good to get a rip on with the Chrissy cards.

This little Santa is from Pink Gems Designs - coloured with watercolours and then added loads of gems to his hat and scarf, diamond ice stickles to his nose and black stickles to his eyes and buttons.

The sentiment is from a set of stamps which Helen very kindly sent me - thanks Helen!

Used the colour inapiration for this one from SPCC Xmas Combo 11 (I haven't any of the colours, so used the closest I have) and the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches #41

Paper Blooms challenge is blue, orange and white

Hairy Santas!

This is my new Santa stamp from High Hopes - I decided to use some of my Flower Soft but I think I got carried away, and they look very hairy now!

Stacked them up - the top layer is just flat, the 2nd is popped up once on dimensionals, and the bottom Santa is popped up twice.

Coloured with H2Os and watercolour pencils - I've just noticed that I forgot to add some silver stickles to his belt buckle. Silver snowflakes also from my stash (from Tescos a couple of years ago and they get pulled out every Christmas!)

Susie's Sassy Challenge #1 is to make a Christmas card

Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential challenge SSPH06 is "Repeatedly Useful"....meaning you will need to use an image MORE THAN ONCE on your creation!

Simon Says ... Thank you!

My Mum bought me these beautiful glitzy peeloff butterflies - just stuck them onto acetate and mounted on dimensionals. Added matching stickles to my letters, so there's loads of sparkle on this card! Used my cuttlebug to cut out the letters (Ellison's Mac'n'cheese alphabet) and the swiss dots embossing folder on the yellow BP.

(The bottom panel of the card is a brighter green than it actually looks)

Simon Says challenge this week is Give Thanks

The Cuttlebug Spot challenge #55 is Give Thanks

Sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's sketch #38 - I flipped the sketch on its side to fit my text in

Pile it On #22 is also a Thank You theme.

Another sympathy

The Pink Elephant's challenge #39 is a colour theme -Brown, Yellow, Neutral and Color of your choice
And Kaboodle Doodles challenge #17 is Fall splendour - make a card using an autumn theme or colours
Stamp from Hobby Art, coloured with copic markers

SCS CAS39: Sympathy

I needed a couple of sympathy cards, so based this one on the Clean & Simple Sketch #39 at Splitcoaststampers.
Flowers from Cornish Heritage Farm, coloured with copics to match DP. The bow is a purply colour too but didn't photo well. I think I need to get myself one of those plastic doo-dahs that help you to tie bows, mine's rubbish!

Golfin sweetie

(Definately the last posting of the evening ... but its been so dark and rainy there's been nothing else to do all day!!)
It's not very often I make a card that I really REALLY love, but this is one of them! Everything just seemed to come together ... now why can't that happen every time?!
The lady golfer was a freebie which came with my last High Hopes order. The dotty primas are from Simon Says and were part of a stash I won a while back.

November Sketch Girl

I'm not sure if I like this card or not! I'd pre-cut the watercoloured High Hopes image, and it could have done with being a tiny bit wider to fit the sketch better.
Papers are oldies from my stash

Teen Birthday

Three Clovers Designs challenge #37 is to make a card for a teenager- I don't have very many suitable images, so was glad of this cute image that DottyJo sent me. Coloured with copic markers and mounted on dimensionals.
I couldn't get this card to photograph right - its such a dark dismal damp day (yes again!) and even my daylight lamp wouldn't do the trick. The BP is from the Pink Petticoat download I've been using - its acually a greeny shade (the same as her tights). Sketch is an oldie from the Clean & Simple stamping site.

Luv to shop

I was asked to make a card featuring shopping, pink and blue, with butterflies, and in landscape style so this is what I came up with! (too much detail requested in a card is nearly as bad as no hints at all!)

Sketch from Create4Fun #44 - I had to adapt it slightly as my main image was too big.

Pleeeeease don't eat me!

Ha Ha ... this little turkey from High Hopes just makes me laugh! And yes, I will be eating turkey for Christmas dinner!

Coloured with watercolours and popped up on dimensionals.

High Hopes challenge #51 and Creative Card Crew #34 are both Snowflakes
