Well we're back and what an amazing time we had! The weather was scorchio, food delish, hotel lovely and the sights were fabulous!
And Jo, I agree that it's impossible to narrow it down to a couple of favourite sites as they're all so awesome - there's a gorgeous church, ancient ruin, fountain, piazza or monum
ent on every corner. If you haven't been to Rome I definately recommend it! (Though I don't think I could stick the heat earlier in the summer as it was pretty hot last week!)
By the way Lily, I did my best to find your ice cream shop... wasn't sure which one it was so tried most of them! Scrummy!
And when I got home on Sat, I had a lovely card from Jo (Dotty Pudding's place) and some stamped images ... thanks very muc
